Lossiemouth High School

Contract type – Design & Build

Work has been completed on the £42 million replacement Lossiemouth High School on behalf of the Moray Council.

The new school was constructed alongside the existing building, which will be demolished.

The new school can cater for up to 800-pupils and will also incorporate a community centre, swimming pool, library, a games hall and a 3G sports pitch.

The main contractor was Balfour Beatty with pupils moving into the new school in April 2021.

Phase 2 of the project will see the demolition of the existing building and the construction of new parking and the sports pitch.
