Aberdeen City Centre & Beachfront Masterplan – Castlegate

Under Construction

The Castlegate streetscape improvements are part of Aberdeen City Council’s £150 million city centre and beachfront masterplan. Morrison Construction Infrastructure are the main contractor.

Hazlehead Academy – North Schools Programme

Under Construction

Work began in March 2026 on the new £124 million Hazlehead Academy Campus on behalf of Aberdeen City Council with Robertson Construction Group as the main contractor.

Forres Academy – North Schools Programme

Under Construction

Construction began in June 2026 on the new £88.6 million Forres Academy on behalf of Moray Council with Balfour Beatty as the main contractor.

St Peters Roman Catholic Primary School – North Schools Programme

Under Construction

Work began in May 2026 on a £27 million refurbishment, conversion and extension project for the St Peters Roman Catholic Primary School on behalf of Aberdeen City Council. The main contractor is Robertson Construction Group.

Peterhead Community Campus

Under Construction

Construction began in April 2026 on the new £102 million Peterhead Community Campus being delivered on behalf of Aberdeenshire Council with Robertson Construction as main contractor.

Peterhead Cultural Quarter

Under Construction

Construction began in June 2026 on the new £19 million Peterhead Cultural Quarter development being delivered on behalf of Aberdeenshire Council with CHAP Construction as main contractor.

Oban Airport Business Park

Under Construction

Groundworks began in December 2025 on the £12 million project for the Oban Airport business park on behalf of the owners, Argyll and Bute Council. Robertson Construction are the main contractor.

Aberdeen City Centre & Beachfront Masterplan – Union Street Central

This project is a key element of Aberdeen City Council’s city centre and beachfront masterplan, which is the biggest redevelopment in the city for 200-years.

Aberdeen City Centre & Beachfront Masterplan – New Market

Under Construction

The new market is a cornerstone of Aberdeen’s city centre redevelopment and will provide the main link between the bus and rail stations and Union Street.

Aberdeen City Centre & Beachfront Masterplan – Beach Phase A

Under Construction

Phase A of the beachfront development will see the creation of two new major play and events parks and improvements to the iconic Broadhill.

Helensburgh Leisure Centre

Under Construction

The roof of the Helensburgh Leisure Centre was badly damaged during Storm Eowyn in January 2025. Although not involved in the original build, hub North Scotland was appointed by Argyll and Bute Council to deliver the installation of a replacement roof and repair internal damage to the centre.
