The £14.7 million Inverurie Health & Social Care Hub opened its doors to the public in August 2018 in the grounds of the town’s community hospital.
It offers a 24-hour midwife-led maternity unit, a dental practice, community nursing and out-patient diagnostic and treatment services.
The centre is also home to the Inverurie Medical Group, one of the biggest GP practices in Scotland with almost 25,000 patients and the two-storey building has 38 consulting rooms.
