Environmental, Social, and Governance
Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors are an essential element of how Hub North Scotland conducts its business.
Hub North Scotland’s core values of excellence, integrity and safety are at the heart of our ESG approach and we have a fundamental focus on our processes and activities to achieve that.
We support relevant social investment in our projects such as helping young people and the long-term unemployed into jobs in construction. We support a range of charities and our staff provide volunteer support to local social initiatives. The Hub North Scotland board has backed that approach with dedicated ESG funding.
Both the board and management team promote a culture of trust, openness and accountability with effective risk management. Hub North Scotland has organisational transparency and undergoes and independent annual audit to ensure good practice.
None of this is done for window dressing or box ticking.
ESG is far too important for that. It drives everything that we do.
“I love working on this site and watching the buildings take shape. It is going to be some place when it is finished.”
