Hazlehead Academy – North Schools Programme

The new campus will cater for up to 1,600-pupils and is being built on playing fields next to the current school on Groats Road. The facilities will include two all-weather sports pitches and a sprint track.
The building is due for completion in the summer of 2028 when the current school will be demolished to make way for parking and sports facilities.
Hazlehead is being delivered through the Scottish Government’s Learning Estate Investment Programme and is also part of the hub North Scotland North Schools Programme initiative.
