North Schools Programme

The North Schools Programme is a pioneering initiative created by hub North Scotland in conjunction with five local authority partners to deliver a programme of eight new, refurbished and extended schools.

Argyll and Bute Council, Orkney Islands Council, Shetland Islands Council, Moray Council and Aberdeen City Council are crossing traditional local authority boundaries to work together with the hub North supply chain to develop a programme that will create substantial financial savings and bring enhanced social impact and other benefits.

This £430 million programme of works will bring certainty to the local supply chain and has attracted substantial funding from the Scottish Government through its Learning Estate Investment Programme Phase 3.
