Frederick Street Car Park

Part of the aberdeen Community Health and Care Village project, the Frederick Street Car Park was the first hub North facility to come to fruition, officially opening in December 2012.

The innovatively designed, £2.3 million Aberdeen city Council-owned car par provides more thatn 150 parking spaces in the east of the city centre and is adjacent to the Aberdeen Community Health and Care Village. The car park is currently servicing those visiting the centre as well as local businesses including Aberdeen Arts Centre and the Lemon Tree.

The car park is covered with full CCTV coverage, helping provide a safe and secure facility in the heart of Aberdeen and is an integral part to the regeneration of the Castlegate and city centre area.

The opening of the Frederick Street car park delivered improved parking provision in the city centre, and will be particularly beneficial for business in the east of the city centre, including the Aberdeen Arts Centre and the Lemon Tree. It fulfils the council’s promise about improving car parking for the Castlegate area, and is another step towards the regeneration of the city centre.
