National Hub Programme

Governance.

The National Hub Programme was created by the Scottish Futures Trust based on a partnership between the public and private sectors to deliver new community infrastructure facilities and other services.

Hub North Scotland is one of five hub companies, or hubCos, where public bodies, such as local authorities, NHS Boards and emergency services, have come together with a private sector partner to form a joint venture company to develop and deliver these new facilities and services.

Each hubCo has its own geographical territory and is committed to a high level of Scottish small and medium enterprise (SME) involvement in projects along with delivering best value and significant community benefits as a fundamental part of their projects.
