Our Economic Impact
The economic impact of our work spreads far beyond a project site. Suppliers, sub-contractors, SMEs and the Third Sector all benefit. There are also recruitment, skills training and work experience opportunities.
Working with our clients on the Territory Partnering Board, we created the North Infrastructure Commission (NIC) which has established a 10-year community infrastructure plan. The NIC has identified the potential for £3.5 billion of capital investment across our territory, providing significant opportunities for economic growth.
“I love working on this site and watching the buildings take shape. It is going to be some place when it is finished.”
