Inverurie Community Campus shortlisted for top awards

£55 million project gains national recognition
Inverurie Community Campus, a £55 million project delivered by Hub North Scotland on behalf of Aberdeenshire Council, has been shortlisted as a finalist in this year’s Scottish Property Awards.
The landmark building, which opened for use last October, is Hub North’s biggest individual project to date. It has been shortlisted in two categories: Development of the Year (Public Buildings) and the Architectural Excellence category.
The principal designers for the project were Halliday Fraser Munro and the main contractor was Robertson Construction. The building consists of Inverurie Academy, the St Andrews School for Additional Support Needs pupils and community facilities.
Community facilities include a six-lane swimming pool, a training pool, a warm water pool and a hydrotherapy pool along with a community café.
The winners will be announced at a digital ceremony on March 25th with Inverurie up against entries from Hub South East, Hub West and the Scottish Courts & Tribunals Service.
