Pupils and staff are delighted to be part of the celebrations
Kirn Primary School was officially opened on 31 January 2018 and the occasion was marked with an Opening Ceremony and ribbon cutting.
Councillor Yvonne McNeilly (Lead for Education) officially opened the school with the Head Boy and Head Girl cutting the ceremonial ribbon. The whole school gathered for the occasion and Mrs Ann Marie Knowles (Acting Executive Director of Argyll and Bute Council) addressed the audience.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event with children from each class taking to the stage to speak about their favourite part of the new school and the Kirn School Choir and Highland Dancers kept everyone entertained.
Also in attendance was each Head Teacher - Walter Chalmers, Ian Ford, James Wylie, Fiona Anderson, Barbara Gray and Kirsteen Macdonald were all delighted to be part of the celebrations.
